R-Type Dimensions III, the shmup shows itself again with an unprecedented 16-bit look

Tozai Games and Inin Games have released the second trailer for their R-Type Dimensions III. The new installment of the historic horizontal-scrolling shooter showcases updated graphics with new animations and special effects, along with a more pixelated presentation, inspired by classic 16-bit games, which can be switched with the modern one at any time.

R-Type Dimensions III will debut in May on PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, complete with a Collector's Edition. For collectors, Inin Games has confirmed that the Switch 2 version will be entirely on cartridge, and no further downloads will be necessary. Here is the video in question.
