Planet of Lana II Goes Underwater in Gameplay Trailer
The new adventure is bigger and... deeper
Thunderful Publishing and Wishfully have shared a gameplay trailer for Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf. Compared to its predecessor, this new chapter in the story will be twice as large, taking Lana and her travel companion Mui to explore unprecedented biomes (snowy mountains, mines, cities, etc.) and expanding the gameplay in new directions: it's no coincidence that the video focuses on a section set in the ocean, where Lana can now freely swim and dive.
We thus see Lana grappling with exploration, stealth, and environmental puzzle-solving: among other things, she can take control of certain animals and exploit their characteristics. Mui has a bad relationship with water, which is why he is transported inside a special waterproof flower. A session in an urban context is also shown, where Lana and Mui must cooperate to solve the puzzles.
The Story of Planet of Lana II
Planet of Lana II takes place a few years after the first episode. Lana and Mui have saved their home world from the machine invasion, but there have been serious consequences: the machines have introduced a new technology, which has inevitably initiated a process of change. The trailer doesn't reveal too much of the story, but a hostile human faction that intends to use technology for its own purposes is mentioned.
Planet of Lana II will be released in early 2026. You will find the game on all major platforms and from day one on the Game Pass service.
