Star Wars: Galactic Racer Goes Full Throttle in Launch Trailer
Fire up your repulsor engines, the race is about to begin
Publisher Secret Mode and developer Fuse Games, in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games, announce the release of Star Wars: Galactic Racer. This arcade racing title is available starting today, October 6, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), accompanied by its launch trailer. Galactic Racer immerses us in a turbulent period of the Star Wars universe, when the Empire has fallen and the New Republic is frantically trying to piece things back together.
In this context, clandestine activities flourish, and in the Outer Rim of the galaxy, an unauthorized motor competition emerges, involving various categories of repulsor vehicles, from landspeeders to podracers. The competition is called the Galactic Championship, and vast sums of capital revolve around it; however, its protagonists, the pilots, are primarily driven by a disregard for danger and an obsession with speed.
In the single-player campaign, players will take on the role of Shade, a reclusive figure seeking revenge and glory.
