Onimusha Draws Its Sword: Way of the Sword Launch Trailer

Twenty years have passed since Dawn of Dreams, the last installment in the Onimusha action series. After a very long hiatus, Capcom has decided to resurrect the IP that had been confined to PlayStation 2: the Japanese company announces the release of Onimusha: Way of the Sword, available starting today, September 4, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox PC), accompanied by the launch trailer you see above.

But after such a long wait, has the new Onimusha lived up to expectations? Two decades have passed, and Way of the Sword's gameplay is obviously more modern than that of its predecessors. Capcom has managed to evolve the formula without betraying the series' legacy.
