The giant robot tactical game reaches version 1.0 and lands on consoles
The Ravenna-based studio DESTINYbit announces the full release of Nitro Gen Omega: this title is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox PC). Nitro Gen Omega's journey began in June 2025, when it was released on Steam in Early Access. The game is a sandbox tactical RPG, inspired by shonen anime.
Nitro Gen Omega Gameplay
Nitro Gen Omega is set in a desolate world, where humanity has lost the war with machines. In this scenario, players will have to recruit a team of four pilots, who will take control of a mech, to complete missions assigned by the surviving human settlements. Pilots will need to be managed, keeping parameters such as morale and fatigue under control; between battles, they can form bonds or create rivalries.

The turn-based battles require careful planning. The fully animated combat sequences give the clashes a cinematic feel that also harks back to anime. Mechs are highly customizable: new frames and various components can be found around the world, allowing players to design their ideal war machine. In this area, various parameters such as protection, heat, and ammunition will also need to be managed.
