MSI Claw and the Microsoft Xbox Full Screen Experience
Optimizations for portable gaming, with improvements to simplify usage and boost performance
MSI has announced that the entire MSI Claw handheld gaming range now officially supports the Microsoft Xbox Full Screen Experience, offering a full-screen interface with a typical console feel, aiming for intuitiveness and immediacy.
Everything is downloadable and activatable via Microsoft and Xbox system updates on any MSI Claw model. The new Xbox Full Screen Experience introduces an optimized environment for portable gaming, accompanied by a series of improvements designed to simplify usage and enhance performance.
Centrality, accessibility, and power saving
Among the main features is the Unified Library, which gathers in one place all titles from Xbox Game Pass, Steam, Battle.net, Epic Games, and other platforms, eliminating the need to switch between launchers. Also important is the reduction in RAM consumption, with over 5% memory saved compared to the traditional Windows desktop, benefiting smoothness and frame rates in games.
The package is completed by the integrated MSI Quick Settings, accessible with a click via the Xbox Game Bar, to quickly adjust essential settings and power profiles without opening additional applications. MSI thus confirms its commitment to improving the user experience of its handhelds, which can boot directly into the Windows Full Screen interface for a more gaming-focused approach. All models — Claw A1M, Claw 7 AI Plus, Claw 8 AI Plus, Claw A8, and Claw 8 AI Plus Polar Tempest Edition — are fully compatible with the new Xbox Full Screen Experience.
