Morbid Metal: The 2026 Update Roadmap

On April 8, Morbid Metal, a frantic action game with roguelike elements developed by the German studio Screen Juice, landed on PC. Published by Ubisoft, the title is currently in early access, so it hasn't yet taken its definitive form, but what has been shown so far is very promising, as we detail in our preview.

Of course, Morbid Metal will be constantly updated before reaching its full version. For 2026, Screen Juice plans to release four major updates: the first is arriving on May 21 and will focus on fundamental improvements and new content. The second, in early summer, will expand progression and build variety; the third, in late summer, will broaden game modes, and with the fourth, in autumn, content will further increase.
