Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link: Opening Leaks Online
An enigmatic opening video for the canceled mobile spinoff

Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link was intended to be a sort of counterpart to Pokémon GO, a mobile spinoff of a major saga, with gameplay mechanics that leveraged geolocation technology. Square Enix had progressed far in development, even discussing launch preparations, when it surprisingly decided to cancel the project. Apparently, the decision was driven by the inability to create an experience that could sustain player interest in the long term.
Missing Link's Opening Cinematic
Square Enix thus decided to terminate Missing Link in its infancy, rather than releasing it only to see it die, as has already happened to a multitude of live service games. The fact remains that very little was seen of this spinoff: if you were curious about it, you'll become even more so after taking a look at the game's unique opening cinematic, which contains elements that are far from simple to categorize. The video in question has surfaced online and can be found on YouTube.
