Killer Inn, closed beta and requirements for Square Enix's murder mystery

SQUARE ENIX today announced the arrival of a second Closed Beta Test for its multiplayer action mystery, KILLER INN. Players can register to participate in the playtest on Steam, which will be held from Saturday, October 4th at midnight to Monday, October 13th at 11:59 PM. Players who participated in the first Closed Beta Test can automatically join the second, while new players will receive a notification about their participation on Wednesday, October 1st.

Following the first Closed Beta Test conducted in July, several updates, including a re-evaluation of certain game design elements, balance changes, and the addition of new features, have been implemented into the game based on player feedback. During CBT 2, players will again be invited to share their feedback to further update and refine the game.

Updates and further details on CBT 2 will be shared through official social channels and the Steam News Hub. Additionally, visitors attending the Tokyo Game Show will be able to preview the CBT 2 version of the game at the SQUARE ENIX booth. Those who play KILLER INN at the Tokyo Game Show will receive a CBT 2 invitation code allowing them to participate in the public test.

• Additional notes: If using Windows 11, Windows 11 system requirements must be met. An SSD is required and able to play at 1920x1080 and 30fps
