He-Man Game Delayed, Arrives This Summer
The '80s icon will make us wait a few more months

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: Dragon Pearl of Destruction is the very long name of the 2D pixel art side-scrolling beat 'em up based on the cult cartoon. As He-Man, Man-at-Arms, or Teela, players will have to face 12 levels to defeat the armies of the evil Skeletor, who has seized a powerful artifact and intends to plunge the universe into darkness.
Announced in 2025, this title is a clear tribute to the '80s: in addition to a legend like He-Man, there's also a genre that was very popular during that period, namely side-scrolling beat 'em ups. It's no coincidence that the developer of this work is Bitmap Bureau, an English studio specializing in 16-bit games and retro games in general. Not long ago, Bitmap Bureau gained appreciation with the convincing Terminator 2D.
