Gothic 1 Remake returns to show itself, but will it be released soon?

Publisher THQ Nordic and developer Alkimia Interactive are showing us Gothic 1 Remake again, with a short trailer focusing on the points of contact with the original and the new features. This new version of the game aims to satisfy the nostalgic need of fans who want to revisit iconic locations and see familiar faces, but at the same time it aims to offer something new, such as a more vivid world and greater customization of one's digital alter ego.

Is there a risk of delay for Gothic?

Last summer, THQ Nordic had set the launch window for Gothic 1 Remake for early 2026. On Steam, the indication "Q1 2026" still stands, so in theory the game should be released by the end of March. But then… why is there no release date yet? We're already in February and everything is silent, the fear of another delay is unfortunately well-founded. We remind you that Gothic will arrive (hopefully on time) on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam, GOG).
