Famitsu has published sales data in Japan for the period from October 27 to November 2. Dragon Quest is one of the most popular franchises ever in the Land of the Rising Sun, so it's no surprise that the new remake of the first two episodes takes the entire podium with the Switch, PS5, and Switch 2 versions. The debut of the Tales of Xillia remaster was more modest, ranking seventh and ninth on Switch and PS5 respectively. Surprisingly, Earthion, the 16-bit shmup also released on Mega Drive, is in tenth place. Below is the complete list, with the number of copies sold followed by the total.
