Today Bethesda Game Studios officially released Update 62: Fallout 76: C.A.M.P. Revamp, which features less restrictive building limits and a revamped workshop interface, opening the door to an even more personalized experience. These changes have long been requested by players who enjoy building in Fallout 76, and are aimed at fostering creativity, collaboration, and interactions among community members.

To celebrate the launch, the team has released a new trailer and a developer deep dive, allowing fans to immediately discover all the new features.

  • Object Snapping: Objects that previously required snapping can now be unsnapped. Walls can also be built under floors, and upper floors can be attached to walls without necessarily having to create a staircase.
  • Placement Limits: While some objects still need to be placed on the ground, for all others, placement limits have been loosened or removed, allowing builders to place them freely... even in mid-air.
  • Workshop 2.0: The workshop menu has been revamped, focusing on organization and ease of finding items. The new interface aims to make it easier for players to find the C.A.M.P. items they desire.

But the fun doesn't stop there, because for the rest of the year Fallout 76 will be organizing C.A.M.P.-related contests! From September 2nd to 29th, players can showcase their best designs inspired by the reconstruction of Appalachia, focusing on beautiful exteriors, from cozy cottages to vast landscapes.
