Fable: new quest and combat trailers
Another look at the lands of Albion, while we wait to visit them in February

At Gamescom, Xbox and Playground Games shared two new, lengthy in-depth trailers for Fable, the highly anticipated new installment in the fantasy action/RPG series. The first of these videos shows us a quest set in Bowerstone, the capital of the kingdom of Albion, to give an idea of how complex the game world is and the weight that choices, with their relative consequences, can carry.
The second trailer, however, focuses on combat. The system allows for melee, ranged, or spell attacks: multiple combinations can be experimented with to find the one best suited to your playstyle.
How long is Fable?
If you think Playground Games is preparing a title that will keep you busy for hundreds and hundreds of hours, you'll have to think again. Speaking to Polygon, it was revealed that Fable's main quest will last about 15/20 hours; side quests will also take about 15/20 hours. However, the game could become virtually infinite, but only if you want to engage with the life-sim elements it contains.
We remind you that Fable will be released on February 23, 2027, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC (Steam, Xbox PC) platforms, and from day one on the Game Pass service.
