F1: The Movie – Sequel in Development: Lewis Hamilton Speaks
Worldwide box office success has prompted a sequel, with initial meetings underway

After capturing a global audience with over 630 million dollars in box office revenue, the project for a second chapter of F1: The Movie is already in its preliminary phase, with the creative team engaged in script development.
This was confirmed by Lewis Hamilton, involved in the project as an executive producer, who stated that work on the new film began in the second half of last year. The British driver participated in the first meetings alongside producer Jerry Bruckheimer, director Joe Kosinski, and screenwriter Ehren Kruger, discussing possible narrative directions for the sequel.
No Rush, Aiming for a Solid Script

Hamilton explained that the experience gained from the first film will allow the team to approach the sequel with greater awareness. The goal is to improve certain aspects of the sports representation that had raised doubts among Formula 1 enthusiasts, without sacrificing the cinematic spectacle that contributed to the project's success.
Despite rumors of a possible future in Hollywood, the seven-time world champion clarified that he is not interested in acting in front of the camera. He prefers to focus on behind-the-scenes work, where he intends to develop new films, television series, and documentaries.
Currently, Apple has not yet officially announced the sequel, but with the script already in the works, it is likely that the project will be confirmed in the coming months. The idea is to proceed by avoiding hasty decisions, towards a second chapter that lives up to expectations.
