Expeditions: Samurai Introduces Travel Companions
Eight characters to delve into Feudal Japan with
Publisher THQ Nordic and developer Campfire Cabal have shared a new trailer for Expeditions: Samurai. Announced last month, this video game is a turn-based RPG set in Feudal Japan, where the player embodies Captain Flynn, the first Western man to reach the Land of the Rising Sun. On his journey, Flynn will be followed by 8 characters, each with their own personality and opinions. With these companions, players can forge friendships and even experience love stories.

When and Where Expeditions: Samurai Releases
The release date for Expeditions: Samurai is set for August 7, 2026. The game will be available on PC, via Steam, in an early access version. The early access period is expected to conclude around the first quarter of 2027.
