Echoes of Aincrad Presents Its Story with a Trailer
A fascinating world, where every battle risks being your last
Publisher Bandai Namco and developer Game Studio Inc have shared a story trailer for Echoes of Aincrad. Announced last month, this video game is a JRPG belonging to the Sword Art Online series. The video introduces us to the game's world and presents the main characters: as is customary for the series, we are inside a futuristic MMORPG, where players interact via a device capable of acting on users' brains.
Unfortunately, however, things get out of hand and the game becomes... too realistic: a game over results in death in the real world, so every battle risks becoming your last. Echoes of Aincrad will be released on July 10, 2026; the new title in the Sword Art Online franchise will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam).
