Dune: Awakening Released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S
Now console players can also venture into the desert of Arrakis
After spending over a year exclusively on PC, Dune Awakening has also arrived on consoles. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S editions of the survival MMO based on the acclaimed sci-fi franchise were handled by Bandai Namco. The timing of the initiative is no coincidence, as it comes just a few months after the theatrical release of Dune: Part Three, the new film by director Denis Villeneuve.
To mark the console release, Bandai Namco and Funcom shared the launch trailer you see above. The arrival on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S is not the only new feature that has affected the game: an update introduced a highly requested feature, the single-player mode, and the story has reached its conclusion.
