Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero Unveils Super Limit Breaking NEO DLC

A flood of new content for a game that already has plenty

Bandai Namco has unveiled the upcoming DLC for Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, the 3D fighting game based on the work of the late Akira Toriyama. The game already boasts an enormous amount of content, with a roster of over 200 fighters; if that's still not enough, a major expansion is on the horizon, releasing in Summer 2026. This DLC is named Super Limit Breaking NEO.

With Super Limit Breaking NEO, Bandai Namco intends to introduce substantial additions in every main area of the video game. We mentioned the roster: the DLC will introduce more than 30 playable characters, many of whom are making their debut in the Budokai Tenkaichi franchise. There are over 20 additional customization options, including costumes and abilities. Battles can take place in 4 new arenas, including the Lookout and the Stratosphere (Planet Vegeta).

But the biggest new feature of all is called Limit Break Journey, an unprecedented single-player mode. With your favorite character, you'll progress through scenarios that branch into different paths, battles, and events, to obtain unique rewards.
