Donutal: Interrogating Aliens in Arc System Works' New Adventure

Arc System Works has announced another project far removed from its classic fighting games. This is Donutal, an interactive visual novel where "conversation" will be our only weapon. In a distant future, as an inspector, we will have to interrogate aliens visiting Earth, understand their intentions, and decide whether or not to welcome them to the planet. A sort of Papers, Please, but with the fate of humanity in our hands.

The title will debut on PC via Steam in 2026 and, surprisingly, you can already download a demo. Here's the announcement trailer.
