Three weeks after the launch of the fake trailer Don’t Go in That House, Bitch!, Eli Roth announced that the project will become a real film produced by his Horror Section Studios.

Nodding to Edgar Wright's famous Don’t for Grindhouse, the trailer features Snoop Dogg as the narrator. In the footage, various characters ignored the voice-over warnings and decided to enter the cursed house anyway, where they were met by insane and grotesque horrors.

According to Variety, both Roth and Snoop Dogg will produce the feature film. The project will be entirely financed and produced by Media Capital Technologies alongside Horror Section, while Snoop will also contribute to writing and producing the original soundtrack.

From fake invention to gore film

Commenting on the announcement, Roth stated: “There are ideas so absurd they keep you up at night. I've always wanted to make the definitive haunted house movie, but in a completely crazy and over-the-top version. When I shared the idea with Snoop, he immediately embraced it: it was natural for us to do it together.”

The director added that the goal is to create a unique collaboration, capable of combining Snoop's passion for horror with his extreme style: “We want to bring something truly insane to the screen. But don't say we didn't warn you.”
