Noah's descent into nightmare can begin
Publisher Nacon and developer Big Bad Wolf announce the release of Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss: the game is available starting today, April 16, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam, GOG) platforms, accompanied by the launch trailer you see above. In this video game, protagonist Noah is sent to investigate the fate of an underwater station that has lost communications: it will be the beginning of a nightmare with Lovecraftian traits.
Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss presents itself as a horror work, but from a gameplay perspective, it focuses on investigation. From these two elements arises a dissonance that did not go unnoticed in our review: an excellent oppressive atmosphere and a first-rate investigative structure are found, but the sense of danger that a horror game needs is missing.
