The Spanish hack 'n slash finally has a launch window, albeit not a very close one
Anima: Song from the Abyss is an action/RPG hack'n slash that belongs to the Anima: Beyond Fantasy franchise. This IP originated in Spain and has developed in multiple directions: books, card games, miniatures, and video games. In Song from the Abyss, players will take control of the two protagonists, who must uncover the secrets of an ancient destroyed civilization before the entire world meets the same fate.
Where and when Anima: Song from the Abyss will be released
Announced back in 2020, this title was tentatively scheduled for late 2024, but its creation has taken much longer. Its developer, the Valencian studio Project Anima, announces that the launch window for Anima: Song from the Abyss is now set for 2027. You will find the game on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam); in the future, it may also arrive on Nintendo Switch 2. The announcement was accompanied by a new trailer, which allows us to frame the gameplay.
