Crazy Taxi: World Tour - The Announcement Trailer

We've known for some time that the glorious Crazy Taxi franchise would be returning to our screens: Sega announced the project during the Game Awards 2023, when it unveiled its plan to revive its historic IPs. However, we had to wait for the Xbox Games Showcase 2026 for the actual presentation, and now we finally get to know Crazy Taxi: World Tour.

First Details on Crazy Taxi: World Tour

Crazy Taxi: World Tour is, of course, confirmed to be an exaggerated arcade driving game, as it should be. This title will feature a compelling narrative campaign, in which protagonist Axel must track down the gang of criminals who stole his taxi, chasing them through five cities around the world. There will also be plenty of side driving missions where players will have to complete absurd jobs to earn tons of money.

When and Where Crazy Taxi: World Tour is Released

In Arcade mode, players can relive the classic thrills of Crazy Taxi, with exciting races against time. You can compete with others in the multiple multiplayer modes. Crazy Taxi: World Tour will speed onto our screens in 2027: Sega's wild races await you on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, PC (Steam, Xbox PC).
