Corsairs: Battle of the Caribbean - Launch Trailer
Another pirate game has set sail, heading for PC
Publisher Microids and developer Fishing Cactus announce the release of Corsairs: Battle of the Caribbean. This title is now available on PC, via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG; in the future, there's a possibility it will also arrive on consoles. Battle of the Caribbean is a strategy video game centered on naval combat, set in the age of buccaneers, which revives Microids' classic Corsairs franchise.
Players will have to assemble their fleet by choosing from 12 different types of ships (previously 17 were indicated, perhaps 5 ships have sunk in the meantime...), with three types of ammunition to use and three soldier classes: Gunners, Musketeers, and Agile. In the campaign, players can represent France, England, Denmark, Spain, or the Netherlands: each faction has its own interests and objectives in the Caribbean. Of course, an online PvP mode is also included.
