Code Vein II, the anime soulslike, available in early access

Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe announced today that CODE VEIN II, the highly anticipated sequel to the acclaimed 2019 title CODE VEIN, is now available in early access on consoles and PC. Developed by Bandai Namco Studios, the new Action RPG immerses players in an epic journey where they can harness time as a weapon, traverse past and present versions of an explorable world, and uncover a dramatic battle to save humanity. CODE VEIN II offers an action-packed RPG experience with engaging combat and a deep progression system for characters, weapons, and skill upgrades. CODE VEIN II is now available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam in Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate editions.

CODE VEIN II plunges players into an epic narrative adventure, where they can wield time as a weapon and join forces with their companions. Set in a future where the remnants of humanity and the Revenants fight against a world on the brink of collapse, players will traverse vast environments with their teammates as they face challenging adversaries and truly unforgettable colossal bosses. They will step into the shoes of a Revenant Hunter to prevent the Rebirth, a cataclysm threatening the world's fate. Accompanied by Lou MagMell, a Revenant who revives the protagonist and possesses the power to travel through time, the Revenant Hunter must embark on a mission to rewrite history and save the world.

CODE VEIN II features distinctive RPG gameplay, where players can utilize blood extracted from enemies to unlock powerful abilities, strategize combat with blood codes, and use unique weapons and equipment called Veils to overcome challenging adversaries and epic bosses. The game also introduces the new companion system, allowing seamless alternation between two combat forms. The companion system further elevates combat into a dynamic action experience with the new bond point gauge, Link Qualities, companion Quality bonuses, and the Regenerative Offering mechanic, which allows teammates to revive the fallen Revenant Hunter, restoring a portion of their health.

In CODE VEIN II, the deep customization system for the Revenant Hunter returns, allowing players to perfectly personalize their characters with a wide range of settings for physique, hairstyle, facial expressions, accessories, makeup, and many more. Players can also visit a key location in the game, called the Hot Springs, to view their character in different lighting conditions and use Photo Mode to capture and save their creations.
