Castlevania Turns 40: Konami's Greetings
The very first game in the series is free on mobile
On September 26, 1986, Akumajo Dracula, known in the West as Castlevania, the progenitor of Konami's great gothic franchise, was released in Japan on the Nintendo console. To celebrate the anniversary, the Japanese company shared a trailer that retraces the history of the series, starting from that game forty years ago and moving through subsequent chapters. Castlevania Free on Android and iOS
The video culminates with Belmont‘s Curse, the next game in the saga, which will be available from October 15 and can be tried from October 1 thanks to a demo. Konami has also decided to give a gift to all fans of the series: from today and until October 24, on the mobile stores Google Play and App Store, it will be possible to download the first Castlevania for free.
