In a Los Angeles rebuilt on the ruins of the past, survival might depend precisely on those who should protect the city. Blade Runner 2099, the new Prime Video miniseries, continues the science fiction universe created by Philip K. Dick and brought to the big screen by Ridley Scott, with a new trailer and official poster presented at New York Comic Con.

Set fifty years after the events of Blade Runner 2049, the story follows Cora, a fugitive played by Hunter Schafer, ready to assume one last identity to escape her past: that of a Blade Runner. Her path crosses Olwen, a Replicant played by Michelle Yeoh, who has only a few days left to live.

Legendary and Infinite Franchise

The hunt for a fugitive will lead the two protagonists to confront a truth capable of endangering the balance of an apparently reborn Los Angeles. A new chapter that returns to question the boundary between humans and Replicants, entrusting the narrative to a pair of protagonists with opposing destinies.

The series was created and developed by Silka Luisa, while Jonathan van Tulleken directed the first two episodes. Ridley Scott is also among the executive producers, alongside the heads of Alcon Entertainment and Scott Free Productions. Blade Runner 2099 will debut on November 25, 2026 on Prime Video, with all eight episodes available.
