ASUS Unveils Radeon RX 9070 XT Dedicated to Onimusha
The card stands out for its ability to evoke the game's dark fantasy atmosphere
ASUS has announced the TUF Gaming Radeon RX 9070 XT Onimusha Special Edition, a special edition graphics card inspired by Onimusha: Way of the Sword, the new chapter in the Capcom saga released on September 4, 2026. The model combines AMD RDNA 4 architecture with a custom livery that evokes the game's samurai aesthetic.
The card stands out with its decorated shroud and backplate featuring a combination of blue and gold, colors chosen to evoke the dark fantasy atmosphere of the adventure set in Edo period Kyoto. Some aesthetic details also echo the iconic Oni Gauntlet, a central element of the Onimusha universe. The special edition is also designed for collectors and comes bundled with the game, transforming the GPU into a product dedicated to fans of the series.
Design Inspired by Japanese Tradition
Technically, the card retains the characteristics of the TUF Gaming Radeon RX 9070 XT. The AMD GPU features 16 GB of GDDR6 memory on a 256-bit bus and supports hardware-accelerated ray tracing. Compatibility with AMD FSR technologies also allows for the use of upscaling and frame generation features supported by compatible games.
ASUS states a Boost frequency of up to 3,080 MHz in OC mode and 2,540 MHz in Gaming mode. The cooling system includes 3x Axial-tech fans, a 3-slot heatsink, and a phase-change thermal pad. The structure uses military-grade components and a metal frame designed to improve rigidity and heat dissipation.
ASUS has not yet announced the price and release date of the TUF Gaming Radeon RX 9070 XT Onimusha Special Edition. The card is already present on the official Italian website of the manufacturer, but availability and distribution in individual markets remain to be clarified.
