Ubisoft has announced that its Assassin’s Creed Shadows is coming to Switch 2. The latest installment in the saga, set in feudal Japan, will debut on the new Nintendo console on December 2. Until then, new updates will improve the gameplay experience, with new features and content.

It starts on October 28, with Title Update 10 and Advanced Parkour, an option that will allow players to remove “architectural barriers.” Players will be able to detach from any height during acrobatics and cling more easily to ledges. Additionally, previously completed castles can become “corrupted” for new challenges and rewards. November 25 will be the turn of Title Update 11, with the mission “A Puzzlement,” which will grant protagonists Naoe and Yasuke new abilities, along with new details of their past.

The Switch 2 version of the title will boast all the new features introduced over the months on day one, and saves can be shared via Ubisoft Connect. It will also be possible to interact with the various menus using touch controls. Assassin’s Creed Shadows is available on PC via Steam, Epic Games and Ubisoft Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Mac, and Amazon Luna.
