Assassin's Creed Shadows Coming to Nintendo Switch 2?

Assassin's Creed Shadows, the latest IP in Ubisoft's Animus saga, which last March recorded the second-best launch ever for the French-American company, is currently available for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. There have long been rumors of a port also for Nintendo Switch 2, but for now, no official announcement has been made.
However, unofficial confirmation might come from a slip-up by the retail chain Auchan, which recently listed the product, albeit without a release date or price. And since the product has since been semi-obscured, here's the original screenshot promptly taken by insider Wario64:
Currently, the only "major" Ubisoft IP to have migrated to Nintendo's new hybrid console is Star Wars Outlaws: during the transition, the software house also included a series of technical improvements, including ray-tracing, but we are talking about a 2024 game. It would be interesting to see if the game set in Feudal Japan would also receive a restyle for the occasion, but of course, we will have to wait for official announcements.
