Action Vault pubblica un intervista al Team di sviluppo di Firestarter, il nuovo sparattuto di cui potete sapere di piu' leggendo questa intervista.
Eccone una parte riportata qui di seguito:

Action Vault: How would you describe FireStarter in terms of the type of game you've set out to create? And how do you categorize it?

Slava Klimov: We position FireStarter as an arcade FPS. By this term, we mean action-focused gameplay without secondary tasks like quests, brainteasers, key searching etc. The main point is extremely intensified gameplay demanding maximal player concentration and sharp reflexes.

Action Vault: What's the essential premise or concept the game is built on, and what are the major elements in the gameplay experience you're aiming to provide?

Slava Klimov: The basic game concept is to survive on each level for a certain stretch of time. In other words, it is a survival game. The player has to personally define the right combat tactics and an optimal movement route. Besides this, the game will include some role-playing elements. These are scores acquired for every killed monster; three improvable character parameters - health, armor, speed; special skills giving the player a certain advantage in the game; artifacts providing the player with extra-abilities. As we see it, the introduction of such elements will considerably diversify the play-through process and increase the game's replayability.
