Xbox price increases again, but only in the USA (for now)
Our favorite hobby is becoming increasingly expensive
Remember the good old days when console prices dropped over the years, following the natural trend of other consumer electronics products? If you were to buy a computer, rather than a mobile phone or a television, etc., released five years ago, you would certainly pay less than it cost at launch in 2020. If, however, you want to indulge your passion with a new console, well, then you might hear your wallet complain.
Another price increase for Series X|S
Not even five months have passed since Microsoft increased hardware prices and now another upward adjustment has arrived. This decision concerns the various Xbox Series X|S models, will come into effect on October 3, and is aimed at the US market: for now, our domestic prices remain unchanged, but we are not so naive as to think that Europe is entirely safe from further increases… Below are the new US prices for Series X|S (with the old ones in parentheses).
- Xbox Series S 512 - $399.99 ($379.99)
- Xbox Series S 1TB - $449.99 ($429.99)
- Xbox Series X Digital - $599.99 ($549.99)
- Xbox Series X - $649.99 ($599.99)
- Xbox Series X 2TB Galaxy Black Special Edition - $799.99 ($729.99)
