Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt will close after 4 years since launch
But support had already ceased a long time ago
These days, the Vampire: The Masquerade universe has welcomed a new title, Bloodlines 2, which for the moment doesn't seem to have fully convinced fans. There's another video game belonging to the franchise of the popular tabletop game, which was released in 2022 and unfortunately failed to establish itself: we're talking about Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt, a free-to-play battle royale released on PlayStation 5 and PC.
When Bloodhunt's servers shut down
Bloodhunt failed to gain enough success, and its developer, the Swedish studio Sharkmob, cut its development after about a year, while still keeping the servers online for those who still intended to play. Now the game is heading towards its definitive closure: on the official website, the deadline has been set for April 28, 2026. Bloodhunt was released on April 27, 2022, so its life cycle will end with a sad fourth birthday.
Until April 28, Bloodhunt will remain fully playable on PlayStation 5 and PC, but after that date, it will obviously no longer be possible to access it. Microtransactions were already deactivated when development ceased; however, if you still have some Tokens to spend, the in-game store will also remain open until April 28.
