Tomb Raider Turns 30 and Still Shows Off Its Remake
A new, evocative trailer for Legacy of Atlantis
On October 24, 1996, on the Sega Saturn console, a character destined to become a video game icon made her very first appearance: Lara Croft. Developed by the English studio Core Design, the original Tomb Raider kicked off one of the most acclaimed action/adventure sagas in the video game landscape; next year, this experience will be re-proposed with a remake called Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis.
To mark the thirtieth anniversary, Amazon Game Studios, Crystal Dynamics, and Flying Wild Hog have shared a new trailer for Legacy of Atlantis, which gives us a glimpse of the game's locations and their dangers, but above all, the acrobatics and combat of the protagonist Lara. The appointment with the alluring archaeologist is set for February 12, 2027, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC (Steam).
