The PlayStation YouTube channel has shared a new trailer for Silent Hill: Townfall, the new installment in Konami's iconic survival horror series, which will transport players to the island of St. Amelia, Scotland, in the year 1996. Here, protagonist Simon Ordell wanders through a deserted town shrouded in the ever-present fog, searching for answers about his past, unaware of the danger that awaits him.

Townfall's Features on PS5

On Sony's console, St. Amelia will be a detailed and credible setting, thanks to 4K resolution and Ray tracing lighting. 3D Audio will make the experience much more immersive, by virtue of evocative sound design. The game will leverage DualSense's capabilities, making full use of motion sensors, haptic feedback, and adaptive triggers. Developed by Scottish studio Screen Burn, Silent Hill: Townfall will be released next week, on September 24, on PlayStation 5 and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store).
