Finally, we know what Lara Croft has in store for the future
That Crystal Dynamics and Amazon were working on the future of the Tomb Raider franchise, we've known for years. A few days ago, an anticipation from Geoff Keighley also revealed that the official presentation would arrive during The Game Awards 2025. What we were unaware of, however, is that on this occasion, not one, but two titles dedicated to Lara Croft would be shown.
Information on Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis
The first to arrive chronologically will be Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, which appears to be a remake of the very first chapter of the saga, from 1996. Developed by Crystal Dynamics in collaboration with Flying Wild Hog and published by Amazon Game Studios, this title is expected in 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
Information on Tomb Raider: Catalyst
The second game is called Tomb Raider: Catalyst and will be a completely new adventure. This title is also the result of the collaboration between Crystal Dynamics and Amazon Game Studios and is expected the following year, 2027, also on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
