After Ridge Racer, Ace Combat 22, and Aqua Jet, another classic Namco title from the golden age of arcade cabinets is about to arrive on consoles. We're talking about Tokyo Wars, from 1996, a third-person tank action game where players can blast each other in the winding streets of a destructible city, either in teams or in a free-for-all. It's the first time the title has left arcades to land in living rooms.

Tokyo Wars will debut on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox Series X|S tomorrow, November 6. Keep in mind that while the original supported up to eight players, this release features a maximum of four, via local split-screen, but only on Switch 2, PS5, and Series X|S. Unfortunately, it will only be possible to play solo on Switch and PS4. Here's the announcement trailer.
