This title serves as a reboot of the eponymous series, originally created in the early 2000s by Polish studio People Can Fly.
Painkiller is a first-person shooter characterized by a grotesque and bloody style, where players face waves of monsters and demons in gothic settings, either solo or in three-player cooperative multiplayer.
