The Polish studio Rebel Wolves has managed to craft one of the best action/RPGs on the market: let's delve into the details in our review of The Blood of Dawnwalker. Despite its undeniable merits, this dark fantasy video game was launched with some missing refinements and some overly cumbersome mechanics, so there's certainly room for improvements, and that's precisely what patch 1.1, releasing this week, aims to address.

What's New in The Blood of Dawnwalker

Regarding additional features, the Draught of Mind Rebirth functionality will allow players to forget sword, magic, and vampirism abilities, to reassign the corresponding points to a different set of skills. There's a new difficulty level called Story, with assisted combat; the old Story level is now renamed Forgiving. Subtitles will be larger and available for all dialogues. Finally, with patch 1.1, you'll be able to pet animals.

Improvements in The Blood of Dawnwalker

Patch 1.1 will bring over 1,100 fixes and refinements to the game. The most important ones concern combat phases: animations and camera are improved, as are targeting and enemy lock-on. The FrameGen technology has also been refined and will have dedicated options. Furthermore, the Japanese version of the game will no longer have censored blood and gore on Steam.
