The Blood of Dawnwalker: Release Date, Editions, and Prices

Publisher Bandai Namco and developer Rebel Wolves have shared a new gameplay trailer for The Blood of Dawnwalker, taken from the game's most recent PC build. This 13-minute video continues to illustrate the features of the action/RPG: it is the third deep dive into The Blood of Dawnwalker (here you can find the first and the second). Bandai Namco has also revealed the title's release date.

The Gameplay of The Blood of Dawnwalker

The trailer begins by offering a look at the game's open world: by reaching an elevated position, players will be able to identify various points of interest scattered across the map, much like in an Assassin's Creed game. To reach these points, players can use special abilities that increase movement speed: at night, you transform into a wolf, while during the day, a talent is unlocked that allows for rapid running.

Along the way, players may encounter random events: it will be up to the player to decide whether or not to tackle them. The various points of interest could be associated with Brencis or his associates, meaning the main enemy of The Blood of Dawnwalker and his vampire henchmen: for example, the trailer shows a camp used as a blood storage facility. The protagonist Coen can assault the depot and destroy the supplies, but his actions will have repercussions.

Committing hostile acts against Brencis and his followers increases Coen's Notoriety, a parameter that quantifies the attention directed towards the protagonist. The mechanism is similar to what is known in GTA: the higher the Notoriety, the stronger the enemies encountered and the more difficult the game will become. The trailer focuses on other aspects of The Blood of Dawnwalker, primarily on Coen's various abilities.

Where and When The Blood of Dawnwalker Releases

The Blood of Dawnwalker will be released on September 3, 2026. You will find Rebel Wolves' work on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam). Pre-orders are open: anyone who pre-purchases the game will receive the Sangoran Wanderer Armor Set as a bonus (which can also be unlocked in-game).
