Tales of Berseria: Velvet figure returns

Tales of Berseria debuted on PC, PS4, and (in Japan only) PS3 in January 2017. The chapter distinguished itself from its predecessors in the successful Bandai Namco series due to several gameplay differences, especially concerning the combat system. Two months after the game's launch, producer Kotobukiya released a Figure depicting the game's protagonist, Velvet. It goes without saying that almost 9 years later, that model has become virtually impossible to find, so the company has announced a reprint and opened pre-orders on its official store.

The new statuette is absolutely identical to the original: it is 20 centimeters tall, static, made of PVC, and sold at a price of 15,400 Yen, which at the current exchange rate corresponds to about €90. Obviously, we are talking about prices for Japan: for the West, things could be more expensive due to shipping, customs, and "duties."

The distribution of the statuette is expected around June 2026. It's interesting to note that six months after the original game, it will celebrate its 10th anniversary, and we wouldn't be surprised if Bandai Namco had a Remaster in the pipeline for the occasion...
