Steam Deck, Valve's handheld device connected to its namesake digital distribution platform and designed to keep PC gaming always at hand, is becoming difficult to find.

Several users, especially in the USA, have reported that all models of the product are sold out, with "restock" labels indicating a generic end of the month. A similar situation is reported in Japan.

On the European store, the LCD model is currently out of stock - and no longer in production - but both OLED machine sizes, 512 GB and 1 TB, seem to be available: it is therefore possible that the European market is a bit slower than the American and Asian markets, with a certain stock still available. So, if you were thinking of buying the product, you might want to hurry because in a few days you might not be able to find it anymore...

Once again, the AI market is under fire for monopolizing the production of chips and memory, leading to supply difficulties or inflated prices for consumer hardware manufacturers. These are the same reasons that recently led Valve itself to postpone the launch of Steam Machine.
