Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions - the first gameplay trailer
A long look at the sci-fi cooperative action/adventure
Publisher Devolver Digital and developer System Era Softworks return to show us Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions, with a long trailer that details the gameplay. This title is a cooperative action/adventure, set in the same universe as Astroneer, where players will don the spacesuit of astronauts engaged in exploration missions.
Starseeker Gameplay
To complete these missions, players will use a variety of futuristic gadgets, so the first step is preparation: before departing, useful items must be bought, crafted, or traded aboard the spaceship. The second step is to descend to the planet and explore it: astronauts move by performing a variety of actions, such as gliding or swimming, and assist each other with tools.
The planets visited, at the edge of the known universe, hide creatures, various environmental hazards, and of course, loot to collect. The first of the worlds visited will be called Tephra. The third and final step is... to return to the spaceship and enjoy the spoils. Be careful, however: each astronaut has a limited amount of oxygen, and it is essential to return before it runs out.
We remind you that Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions will be released in 2026. The space explorers from System Era Softworks will land on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC, via Steam.
