Speedball Exits Early Access and Arrives on Consoles
Rebellion revives an old Amiga glory
The English software house Rebellion Developments announces the release of patch 1.0 for Speedball: today the game concludes its early access period, which began in October 2024. In addition to being available on PC (Steam, Xbox PC), Speedball also arrives on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles, accompanied by the launch trailer which we've included below.
This Speedball is the modern version of the classic of the same name from the Amiga era: for those unfamiliar with it, it is a sports title with a dash of tactics and a high degree of violence. Before being acquired by Rebellion, the intellectual property was in the hands of another English studio, The Bitmap Brothers. If you want to see Speedball in action, this gameplay trailer is for you.
