Soulframe Launches Founder's Packs, New Trailer Released
New paid content for Digital Extremes' fantasy universe
Announced in 2022, Soulframe is an ambitious project from the creator of Warframe, Canadian studio Digital Extremes: it's a fantasy action/RPG that, despite its name, has no intention of following the soulslike trend. We saw it a few months ago, during TennoCon 2025: there seems to be a lot already in the works, but the current build is still an alpha version, called Preludes, so the actual launch won't happen anytime soon.
Soulframe Founder's Packs
Soulframe follows the free-to-play model with microtransactions. Although the release of version 1.0 is not yet on the horizon, Digital Extremes has already started monetizing by inaugurating Founder's Packs, which offer exclusive armor, weapons, items, plus other extras such as a quantity of Arc, the premium in-game currency. There are three selectable options:
- Tethren Wild
- Sirin Wild
- Oscelda Wild
At the not-insignificant price of €28.99 each. You can find details on the official website. For now, the Packs can only be purchased from the website, although Soulframe is also available on Steam. The release of the Founder's Packs was accompanied by a dedicated trailer, which offers us a new look at the game.
