A Tribute to the Disturbing Tale by the Master of Horror

This special edition includes 14 new illustrations by Clive Barker, an unpublished afterword by Phil and Sarah Stokes, and a rich section of bonus materials: scans of the author's original handwritten and typewritten manuscripts, original sketches of the Cenobites, and a reproduction of Kirk Reinert's historic cover for the first paperback edition.

First published in 1986 within the anthology Night Visions, The Hellbound Heart is considered a milestone of modern horror. The story of Frank Cotton, his descent into the extreme territories of pleasure and pain, and Julia's destructive obsession remains a disturbing and powerful work even today, capable of blending pure horror with intimate reflection on the limits of human desire.
