Sharkoon SGK55W - 75% Gasket Keyboard
The goal is to offer softer typing and a less metallic sound
Compact, customizable, and designed for hybrid use between gaming and productivity: the Sharkoon Skiller SGK55W expands the brand's mechanical offering, focusing on a 75% format and more refined construction solutions compared to classic gaming keyboards.
The structure adopts a gasket-mount design with a polycarbonate plate and several sound-absorbing layers of silicone and foam. The goal is to offer softer typing and a less metallic sound, characteristics increasingly requested even outside the competitive sphere. An integrated knob for volume control is also present, useful both at the desk and in-game.
Softer typing, fewer vibrations
The proprietary linear switches come pre-lubricated, designed to ensure fluid and rapid actuations. The double-shot PBT keycaps with Cherry profile promise greater wear resistance, while the hot-swap PCB allows for switch replacement without soldering. VIA compatibility for advanced key remapping is also present.
In terms of connectivity, the SGK55W supports USB-C wired mode and 2.4 GHz wireless, powered by an integrated 4,000 mAh battery. ARGB lighting with south-facing LEDs completes the package. Available in black and white variants, the keyboard does not yet have an official price communicated.
