Scream 7 launches the "Hide & Scream" web game
While waiting for its arrival in cinemas, Scream 7 is ramping up promotion with an official mini-game available for free via browser and mobile devices. Called Hide & Scream, it puts players in the shoes of a potential Ghostface victim: 60 seconds to hide, collect useful items, and survive until the police arrive. A quick and tense experience, designed to recreate the claustrophobic atmosphere that made the saga famous.
Just to "kill" some time...
The new chapter will debut in theaters on February 25, distributed by Paramount in premium formats such as IMAX, Dolby Cinema, and 4DX. Behind the camera, Kevin Williamson, the franchise's long-time writer, returns, penning the screenplay alongside Guy Busick.
The story brings Sidney Prescott back to the center, who, after seeking a life away from the nightmares of the past, finds herself forced to confront a new masked killer. When the threat strikes her family, Sidney will once again have to face her fears to stop the trail of blood.
The cast includes iconic faces like Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, and David Arquette, joined by veterans and new presences that expand the narrative universe. With a mix of nostalgia and renewal, Scream 7 aims to reignite the tension of the saga even off-screen, engaging fans even before its theatrical release. The game is available for free via browser and mobile devices.
