Aniplex and Joycity have announced the release date for Resident Evil: Survival Unit. The free-to-play real-time strategy game will debut on iOS and Android devices on November 17, and will also be available for download in Italy, as reported on the official pre-registration page.

Set between the second and third chapters of the survival horror saga by Capcom, the title tells an untold story during the Raccoon City outbreak. As an anonymous survivor, we will have to explore the surrounding areas in search of resources, rescue other survivors, and set up and protect our base from monster and undead attacks.

Resident Evil: Survival Unit will use microtransactions to speed up in-game activities and accumulate credits to unlock iconic characters like Leon, Claire, and Jill. Most content can be obtained for free, but expect to invest a good amount of time if you choose that route. Here's the latest trailer, released a few months ago.
